about

Some of us are born a certain way that makes you need to accomplish something great. Not great in the sense of notoriety, fame, wealth, or prestige. This is a personal great, something that perhaps only you can understand. I knew this early on, and have worked my whole life to find that. It has been a seemingly endless quest, until now. With the songs on Dissonant Creatures, I finally found that elusive thing, and, after many years, completed my song cycle--40 songs on 4 "albums" (some of it not recorded yet). I call this "the code". After 30 years of exploring the world of music, I finally found "the code" I needed to find. And broke it. If you are like me and need to find your own code, I want to tell you something. You are born a certain way that requires you to do this thing; to find your code. Your life won't be easy because of this. You will be cursed with restless desire. It will be incredibly difficult to juggle your life, family, and work while you journey. In addition, most people you know, including your family and friends, will not understand what you are going through. If you walk away from finding it, you will live a life unfulfilled. If you don't walk away from it, you will be miserable searching for it. This is the struggle. I want you to know something. If you search for it, you will find it before you die. It may take tears, or your whole life, but if you put your head down and work and use all of your stamina to direct yourself, you will find it. When you do find it, you will know it. And when you know it, you will find peace. Nirvana. It will be something that very few people in the world get to experience. You will live the rest of your life in harmony with the world. My hopes and prayers go out to you on your quest, my friend.
